What Is Life Coaching?

Life coaching is a partnership between client and coach designed to provide a confidential and supportive environment in which to define personal goals, design a roadmap and implement strategies to successfully reach those goals. Goals may be broken out between immediate or short-term goals and long-term goals.

Creating a life-style that brings you serenity and joy

When our thoughts and actions are aligned with our values, we live our life with purpose.

The challenge is in realizing and acknowledging our values, and learning how to recognize when we are aligned and when we are in conflict. Once we align with our core values, a second level of challenge enters the mix, creating a need to distinguish between what is within the realm of our personal control or influence and what lies outside that realm. Developing skills for effectively managing what is within our control and for successfully dealing with those things outside our realm of control presents yet another level of challenge.

The life skills needed to face these challenges are as real as the skills required for balancing our bank accounts, maintaining our physical health and performing tasks associated with our jobs or other responsibilities. In essence, these life skills provide the foundation on which all else resides. Building a foundation is not typically a one-person job, it requires a team effort.

Yes, it is challenging, and yes, you are up to the challenge, even if you currently doubt your strength for it. You are not alone.
